Galina Kuznetsova

was born in Russia in 1976 in Ivanovo. She began to paint from school. But another interest for science, led her on the benches of the University, where she graduated with a specialization in computer science. Galina then worked worked designer in publishing, leisure and continuous oil painting. To improve her technique, she took lessons from famous painters from Russia.

Since her arrival in Switzerland, Galina, impressed by the mountain, has spent much time hiking. She takes the brush and canvas to express the beauty, admire it. The subjects of his paintings are varied: castles, fields, Lake Geneva, and of course above all - the favorite mountains.

Galina in Switzerland since 2008 has participated in several solo and group exhibitions, and a few competitions for artists. In 2009, the painting competition in Perroy themed "Region Nyon" Galina Wins 1st Prize of the Municipality. So the following year on "The lake and its lights" she won the 1st Prize of the Jury.

Dimitri Kouznetsov

began paint with watercolor the lessons given by his grandfather, a professional artist and retoucher. The dilemma arose as to continue to be an artist or as a chemist. Chemistry has prevailed, and he entered the University of Moscow.

In 30 years he became interested in photography and practice. His arrival in Switzerland at this period of his life, enabled him to buy a medium format camera and start capturing the beautiful play of light and shadow.

The digital revolution in photography, the degradation of the severity of copyright and the devaluation of art photography in general led him to a natural movement to his old passion for mixing colors on the palette. This practice, polished by the private lessons of two professional Russian artists, has now become the basis of his art while working in the studio gives hope to follow the works of great landscape painters such as Jacob van Ruisdael, Sylvester Shchedrin, Alexander Calame, Ivan Shishkin and Albert Bierstadt to true art.
